Privacy Policy

ByFlame Grills (“we”) is a workshop in the Industrial Zone of Deryneia, 5380, Cyprus. This policy explains what personal data this website handles, why, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect and why

Quote requests and contact messages. When you send the quote or contact form we store the details you enter (name, contact details, and your message, including optional company, location, model, project type and budget range) together with the date of your consent. We use this only to answer you and prepare your quote. Legal basis: your consent and steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

Shop orders. When you buy from the shop we process the data needed to fulfil your order: name, billing/delivery address, email, phone, and your order history. Legal basis: performance of a contract, and legal obligations such as tax record-keeping (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

WhatsApp. If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, the chat happens on WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) under their own privacy terms. Nothing is sent to WhatsApp by simply browsing this site — a chat only starts when you tap a WhatsApp button.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookies set are strictly functional: session cookies that make the shopping cart and checkout work, a cookie remembering your language choice, and a login cookie if you have an account. Because these are strictly necessary, no consent banner is required. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for consent first.

Who sees your data

Your data lives on our web hosting provider’s servers in the EU and in our business email. We share order data with delivery couriers (to deliver) and payment providers (to process payment). We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and messages: up to 2 years after our last contact, then deleted. Order records: as long as Cypriot tax law requires (currently 6 years). You can ask us to delete a quote request at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, and take your data elsewhere. Email us and we will act within one month. You can also complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).
